bento glee, baby!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU GUYS YOU ARE SO GOING TO HATE ME LIKE FOR REALS OMG.

GUESS WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY HMMM I WONDER WHAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE??????

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY FOR TWO WEEKS BUT ALSO FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS IT IS LIKE BEING SEVEN YEARS OLD ALL OVER AGAIN I AM PROBABLY GOING TO BREAK MY CAPSLOCK KEY JUST FYI.

And so anyway these are the boxes I ordered. You remember the Zombie Shame Parade???? Well this is like that, only the subject matter is waaaaaay less lame and so it is kind of more like the Bento Glee Parade amirite???? Oh my, and here I am with a less-than-stocked pantry. But! I am not complaining! Because BENTO GLEE YOU GUYS.

   

Aren't these little mini-boxes (aka "sidecars" in bento parlance) adorable??? These are from the "Natural Lunch Time" line, and you get them as a set of 3, each of them 80 mL. My hand is for reference, and I have small hands so they are indeed very delightfully wee.

This is one of the small "Natural Lunch Time" bento boxes (480 mL); they have boxes in the green and tan, also, along with two-tier boxes, chopsticks, and even carrying bags, and everything's super inexpensive. I like the simplicity of this box, and it's a good size for a snack, or in combination with one of the smaller lunch boxes for a full day of meals. Their tag line is, "lunch time will make everyone happy". YES YES IT WILL.

This is the same exact box as my little strawberry one I've been using for breakfasts, which I love love love. This box is also 320 mL. I don't know what it is about the animals on top, but they call to my inner preschooler and I just had to have this box. It'll be nice to have to change out with my strawberry one from time to time. I particularly love the little quote on the lid for this one: "Let's enjoy a time with me."

         

My first two tier box!! It has a divider in the top tier and chopsticks in the lid!! And a bento band! And a matching carrying bag! Top tier is 380 mL, bottom tier is 250 mL.

    

Another two tier, this one in a slimline style, also with chopsticks in the lid. Top tier is 245 mL, bottom tier is 340 mL. My love for all things French + Bento Glee = Had To Have It, QED. The math is simple, really.

         

Cute bunny! Crescent moons! Purple-even-though-it-looks-blue-in-the-pics! This is the largest of the boxes -- top tier is 320 mL, bottom tier is 400 mL, and it has chopsticks, a divider (and separate inserts in the top tier), a band, and a cute little carrying bag.

Thus ends my bento buying spree. No, seriously. I AM COMPLETELY TOTALLY SERIOUS YOU GUYS. SHUT UP I CAN TOTALLY STOP ANY TIME I WANT.

Now, to figure out what to make....
